With LLM parameters you have the chance to configure additional important settings for your LLM. With that settings you can influence the balance of costs and value for instance. But in addition, you can influence how the output will be generated, is it more accurate or more creative. Important to get the outcome you need for your use case.
What I mean by that? I´ll give you a simple example.
Max tokens
An important setting that you should look for is the max tokens. With that you can set a limit on how long the generated response should be. Since LLM pricing is often based on token usage, generating longer responses requires more resources (computer) power, which can lead to slower responses and higher costs. With the max setting you can influence that.
